Just a mile or two north of Virgelle, MT, the Coal Banks trestle led the GN up out of the Missouri river basin up onto the plains on the way to Big Sandy. It was torn down in the eighties as this portion of the line was abandoned. This gallery is a collection of images past an present of the structure, the area, and the construction of my model that is a centerpiece on my layout.
